WEST LONDON WEDDINGS

Hammersmith & Fulham Town Hall

Here is a wedding I shot in early 2017 over in West London, where the clients both lived and worked in Hong Kong, but as they had both grown up in West London, so they decided to return and get married here.

This was a tricky wedding as we had to deal 5 different venues on the day. Bridal prep at a the brides home, Hammersmith & Fulham town Hall for the service, Shikumen Chinese restaurant on Bush Green for the wedding breakfast and then ending up at the famous West London Venue Bush Hall for the evening party.

To make things even trickier, the bride and groom requested portraits shot on Hammersmith Bridge, which they were both particularly fond of and local too, so we managed to squeeze in a quick 20 mins session on the bridge, which produced some lovely shots, which the clients were very happy with.

The marriage service was held in the stunning Council Chambers at Hammersmith & Fulham Town hall, which is a beautiful venue and though we had to deal with a lot of back light, we managed to come away with some amazing pictures of the bride & groom and which turned out to be one of the most moving services I attended that wedding season.

Thank you Brett & Shelly, you were the perfect wedding clients and a real pleasure to shoot and work with!

Tips For Finding The Perfect Wedding Photographer

When looking through all those 100’s of wedding photographers websites, make sure you are able to to view a substantial amount of images from one or multiple weddings, so you can get a fairly good idea of what you will receive as a finished package. Sometimes a few great photos of brides in their dresses is not representative of the work as a whole. Though these images may be fantastic,  you still need to be confident the photographer will be able to capture all the most important moments, that they are able to tell the complete story of your day, in the style you want and with the consistent quality you deserve?

My clients usually receive 400+ images of their day, which makes it prohibitive to post complete weddings directly on my website, so I opt for  edited highlights of around 100 images for my blog, with the option for new clients to view complete weddings on request.
